Welcome back to this, the fifth edition of #NeonNotables, for August 23, 2019.

As always, the goal of this series is to help keep the #QAnon community informed of the latest happenings while Q himself is away. This way, we’re all still coordinated, on-point. and ready for his imminent return once 8chan comes back online.

Now, this is the biggest Notables post to date, so set aside a good chunk of time to get through this, because I really try to make sure every story here is important. No filler here. Understanding these stories is one way the #QArmy stays ready.

I’m also including a new section at the end, and will be doing so again, in the future (when appropriate) called THREAT MATRIX. The idea is to make Anons aware of the various pushes coming from those entrenched in the media and the state against Anons, the Chans, Gab, Voat, Free Speech, and the QMovement in general.

Charles Koch said his brother would be “greatly missed, but never forgotten.” David Koch had recently stepped down from the brothers’ network of business and political activities.

Cindy NoName Lookin’ Rough – Asks for “Civility” on the Anniversary of NoName’s Execution:

#NoName’s handler, Cindy, has poked her head out of the woodwork, and is now headlining efforts for the McCain Institute with a really odd request:

Riiiiight.

She also wrote this up for the CIA’s favorite paper, the Washington Post:

Cindy McCain is chair of the board of trustees of the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University. My late husband, John McCain, loved a good fight for a good cause, and he had more than a few spirited encounters with colleagues on both sides of the aisle.

There’s a lot of bloviating about bipartisanship and compromise throughout, but note the “call-to-action” at the end of the article:

When Congress returns from its August recess, I hope its veteran members, many of whom my husband was proud to call his friends, and its newest ones will energetically contest the issues of the day. I hope they will fight for their beliefs and enjoy the contest. But I hope, too, as John would, that they do it with minds open to the possibility of compromise for the country’s sake, and hearts open to the possibility and joys of unexpected friendships. I believe most Americans would find great value in that approach to politics and governing, and to well-lived lives. It is time to inspire a renewal of civil engagement that is so critical to meet the challenges of the future.

Understand something right off the bat. This is code. Not a very well hidden code, but code nonetheless.

Obviously, Cindy sees Trump as the existential threat here, and I think (emphasis on this being my opinion) that she’s writing this to speak to all those leftover on the Republican side of things who might be having doubts about Trump, or who might otherwise be turned against him. In other words, she’s fishing for Judases.

After all, what does “civility” produce?

It produces “order.”

(I think you get the implication).

This reads as a desperate move to me. Knowing what we know about the flow of dark money being cut off (from the Qdrops), and Cindy’s role as a handler… this seems like a last ditch plea for help based on empty promises.

The broader context for this is the return from the August recess – that is asking for all hands to get on deck in preparation for, I think, #TheStorm.

But It’s not a power-move; that much is certain.

 

Rick Gates Testifies that Tony Podesta and Vin Weber Were Knowingly Working for the Ukrainian Government

This is actually the most recent development in a series of articles at Politico following the Greg Craig trail.

Jurors at the trial of Greg Craig saw evidence on Wednesday that the former Obama White House counsel complied with a request from ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort for a backdated and irregular $1.25 million invoice for a politically sensitive project that Craig undertook for the government of Ukraine.

Rick Gates, the former Trump deputy campaign chairman and a central witness in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, appeared in federal court again on Thursday to testify against former Obama White House counsel Greg Craig at his ongoing trial connected to a Ukraine-related legal project that Craig did involving Gates’ former boss Paul Manafort.

And here’s the latest bit, with the big development:

Rick Gates says he told Vin Weber and Tony Podesta that Ukraine controlled think tank

Rick Gates, President Donald Trump’s former deputy campaign chairman, testified on Thursday that he personally told two lobbyists hired by Paul Manafort that a think tank they were representing was actually a front for the government of Ukraine. During questioning at the ongoing trial of Greg Craig, the former Obama White House counsel, Gates said the lobbyists, Tony Podesta and former Rep.

Rick Gates, President Donald Trump’s former deputy campaign chairman, testified on Thursday that he personally told two lobbyists hired by Paul Manafort that a think tank they were representing was actually a front for the government of Ukraine.

During questioning at the ongoing trial of Greg Craig, the former Obama White House counsel, Gates said the lobbyists, Tony Podesta and former Rep. Vin Weber (R-Minn.), knew that the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine was controlled by Ukraine. Such ties would have required Podesta, Weber and their lobbying firms to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act and disclose contracts and payments related to the work.

“Did you lie to Mr. Podesta himself?” asked Fernando Campoamor-Sanchez, a lawyer for the government.

“I did not,” Gates replied.

“Did you lie to Mr. Weber himself?” the prosecutor inquired.

“I did not,” Gates said.

“Did you tell them who the client actually was?” Campoamor-Sanchez asked.

“Yes,” Gates said.

“And who was the client?” the prosecutor asked.

“The government of Ukraine,” Gates replied.

Gates’ testimony is the latest indication that Mercury Public Affairs and the Podesta Group knew they were working for the Ukrainian government, even though their ostensible client was the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine.

And then there’s this doozy:

Manafort, Gates and Mercury and Podesta Group staffers “referred to the client in ways that made clear they knew it was Ukraine, for instance noting that the ‘client’ had an Embassy in Washington D.C.,” according to the statement. Tony Podesta, identified as “the head of Company B” in the court filing, “told his team to think the President of Ukraine ‘is the client.’”

Gates also told Mercury that it would be “representing the Government of Ukraine” in Washington, according to a Feb. 21, 2012, email obtained by Mueller and mentioned in a court filing related to Gates’ guilty pleas last year to conspiracy and false-statement charges.

(Company B is, obviously, The Podesta Group).

Why is this BIG?

Think back to my article – specifically the part about Grassley’s letter to the DOJ concerning DNC Lawyer Alexandra Chalupa:

According to documents provided to the Committee, the Justice Department required the Podesta Group and Mercury LLC to register under FARA for working on behalf of the Ukrainian government. Their registration was required even though the client, the European Centre for the Modern Ukraine (ECFMU), wrote a letter saying it was not directly or indirectly controlled by the Ukrainian government. That did not matter to the Justice Department because their lobbying activity was not to “benefit commercial interests” of the ECFMU but instead to promote the political or public interests of a foreign government or foreign political party.” The Justice Department made clear that an individual acting in the political or public interests of a foreign government must register under FARA. As such, because Podesta and Mercury were effectively working on behalf of Ukrainian government interests, they were required to register. Unlike that situation where the Podesta Group and Mercury LLC worked for the middleman (EFCMU) and not the Ukrainian government, here Chalupa reportedly worked directly with Ukrainian government officials to benefit Ukraine, lobbying Congress on behalf of Ukraine, and worked to undermine the Trump campaign on behalf of Ukraine and the Clinton campaign.

Big picture, folks. If they nail Manafort and Gates on this, they have to nail Chalupa, as well. And Chalupa leads back to the DNC.

But Her Emails – For Real (Latest John Solomon):

HRC’s emails are back in play. (Of course, we know they never really went away, despite Comey’s efforts to just sweep them under the rug). But developments like these are important to track in the mainstream, because it shows the needle advancing:

The road not taken: Another FBI failure involving the Clintons surfaces

Thanks to the relentless investigative work of Senate Finance Committee Chairman (R-Iowa) and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman (R-Wis.), we are learning that the email case may not really be settled.

August in Washington can be the political equivalent of an elephant graveyard: One good rain can wash away the dirt and expose the bones of scandals past.

And this August did not disappoint. Thanks to the relentless investigative work of Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), we are learning that the Hillary Clinton email case may not really be settled.

A staff memo updating the two senators’ long-running probe discloses that the FBI — the version run in 2016 by the now-disgraced and fired James Comey, Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok — failed to pursue access to “highly classified” evidence that could have resolved important questions.

The failure to look at the evidence back in 2016 occurred even though the agents believed access to the sensitive evidence was “necessary” to complete the investigation into Clinton’s improper transmission of classified emails — some top secret — on her unsecure private email server, the memos show.

To make matters worse, the Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) has known about that decision since at least 2018, thanks to the work of the DOJ’s internal watchdog, Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz, who provided DOJ leaders and Congress with a classified appendix explaining what happened.

This excerpt is particularly important:

And in a passage that often gets overlooked by reporters and pundits alike, IG Horowitz concluded in his final report about the Clinton email caper that the anti-Trump biases that FBI agent Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page expressed in text messages may have affected their decisionmaking to focus more urgently on the now disproven Trump-Russia collusion allegations rather than to finish work on the former secretary of State’s email problems, an investigation code-named Midyear.

“In assessing the decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead … we were particularly concerned about text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions they made were impacted by bias or improper considerations,” the Justice Department’s watchdog wrote.

So the FBI’s chief lawyer originally thought Clinton should be indicted, and the bureau wrote a draft supporting the felony standard, but then walked back its decision. And agents focused more on unsubstantiated Trump collusion than Clinton emails in what the IG feared might be a sign of bias.  

And now we learn the FBI willfully chose to ignore highly classified evidence in the Clinton email case and has stonewalled Congress for a year on whether it intends to reexamine that evidence.

Ghislaine Maxwell once taught one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers “the proper way” to perform oral sex just how he liked, a new lawsuit claimed. The British socialite allegedly gave the victim, Priscilla Doe, a “step-by-step” tutorial during a meeting at the convicted pedophile’s island, Little St. James, in 2006.

The British socialite allegedly gave the victim, Priscilla Doe, a “step-by-step” tutorial during a meeting at the convicted pedophile’s island, Little St. James, in 2006, according to Priscilla’s lawsuit filed Tuesday in Manhattan federal court.

Maxwell, Epstein’s gal pal and alleged madam, used her own hands “to demonstrate how to pleasure Jeffrey Epstein manually so that plaintiff would know exactly how to make Jeffrey Epstein happy,” the complaint said.

Maxwell provided other graphic advice on “stimulation” and “pressure” — and eventually made sure that Priscilla and other young women were “constantly on call to sexually service” Epstein, according to the filing.

On the same trip, Priscilla — who was a 20-year-old dancer when she was “recruited” as one of Epstein’s personal masseuses in 2006 — was forced into having sex with another woman, identified as “Associate 2,” during which she was choked by Epstein, the suit said.

Priscilla claimed she was forced to give some of Epstein’s “powerful friends” massages — during which she was sexually abused — but did not identify any by name.

On one occasion, she said, she was forced to serve hors d’oeuvres at Epstein’s private party with Woody Allen in order to keep her in line.

How on earth is this woman still walking around, free?

 

Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Found a Bullet, Severed Cat’s Head Outside His Home When He Began Investigating Epstein:

The former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair allegedly found dead cat’s head outside of his residence after the magazine began pursuing a story about Jeffrey Epstein

Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly used his wealth and intimidation tactics to shut down media stories that delved into the allegations of sexual misconduct against him. NPR delved into how Epstein wasn’t covered extensively by the press.

In 2002, Vanity Fair’s longtime editor-in-chief, Graydon Carter, had heard rumors about Epstein, according to NPR, and assigned the reporter Vicky Ward to pursue a story on why Epstein was always spotted in the company of young women.

Ward interviewed two women, Maria and Annie Farmer, who accused Epstein and Maxwell, his then-girlfriend, of recruiting them for sexual abuse. Annie Farmer was just 15 when she said Epstein sexually assaulted her, according to NPR, and she later discussed these allegations in an affidavit for a lawsuit in 2019.

The sisters told NPR they spoke about their allegations of abuse against Epstein on the record when they were minors. Their mother, Janice, told NPR that she discussed the allegations openly with the hope that the interview would protect any young girls in Epstein’s orbit from becoming future victims.

Early one morning in 2003, Epstein was said to have somehow found his way into the Manhattan offices of Vanity Fair, where he was discovered by Carter, NPR reported.

John Connolly, a former Vanity Fair contributing editor, told NPR that Epstein had shown up to pressure Carter away from running any stories that dealt with sexual-misconduct allegations against him.

“He was torturing Graydon,” Connolly told NPR.

Epstein also followed up with a barrage of phone calls and messages and denied any misconduct, the report said.

Ward’s piece was finally published in March 2003, though it did not mention the interviews the Farmer sisters had given that detailed their abuse allegations.

Ward had previously told The Daily Beast that Carter scrubbed all reference to allegations of misconduct against Epstein from her piece. Carter previously said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that Ward’s piece was rinsed of the interviews with Epstein’s accusers because the story lacked “three sources on the record and therefore this aspect of the story did not meet our legal and editorial standards.” This week, according to NPR, he updated his statement and said Ward did not have three sources that met the magazine’s “legal threshold.”

Connolly told NPR that soon after Ward’s piece was made public, Carter found a single bullet placed outside the front door of his home in Manhattan, a development he considered to be a clear warning sign.

In 2006, Connolly headed to Florida to investigate allegations against Epstein for a story and sought interviews with women who worked for Epstein, Connolly told NPR. Soon after, Connolly said, Carter called him to let him know that he had found the severed head of a dead cat in the front yard of his home in Connecticut.

On Wednesday, Patrick Byrne went on live television to dismantle the FBI, saying he took orders from Peter Strzok during the 2016 presidential election to spy on Donald Trump, Ted…

The news about Patrick Byrne broke a little while back, but what’s new is him implicating Strozk and FBI leadership in this plot.

I’m not the only one who said that the death of Epstein would accelerate the timeline. This certainly seems to be true, as even the likes of McLean-favorite, Chris “Fredo” Cuomo, was caught completely blindsided by Byrne’s testimony, live on air.

 

The questionable bit in all of this is – he said he sat on this for several months, but then he names HRC twice as a “victim” of this espionage, alongside Trump, Rubio, and Cruz.

You have to wonder… is she really a victim here? Is Byrne trying to help Clinton by listing her as a “victim” when really, she’s a perpetrator? Or is he just flat-out wrong on this point, not knowing any better?

Epstein supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, but after the Trump tweet, Clinton attacked his professional reputation. Epstein responded with a tweetstorm exposing Clinton’s ties to Google.

Everyone should know who Dr. Robert Epstein is now. He’s the long-time HRC supporter who is now reporting on her collusion with Google to affect the outcome of American Elections.

So yeah. He’s not Arkancidal, guys.

I believe I cracked the “Yellowstone” code. On 8/17/17 (note the 17s), BBC posted an article about NASA plans to drill into Yellowstone to “prevent the extinction of the human race.” 45 days later, the Las Vegas 10/1 attack happened. Q arrived shortly after.

Mifsud’s Lawyer: Former Italian Minister Nudged Mifsud to Introduce Trump’s Aide to Russians

Joseph Mifsud, an academic who’s been rubbing shoulders with Western intelligence and security officials, was prompted in the spring of 2016 to introduce George Papadopoulos, then a junior aide to the Trump campaign, to Mifsud’s contacts in Russia.

According to Stephan Roh, Mifsud’s lawyer, the suggestion came from Mifsud’s longtime associate and former Italian interior minister, Vincenzo Scotti, as well as Nagi Idris, a lawyer of Sudanese origin who at the time was Papadopoulos’s boss at the London Centre for International Law Practice (LCILP).

If Roh’s representations prove accurate, they would deal another blow to the FBI’s justification for starting the probe, undermining its portrayal of Mifsud as a cut-out between the Russian government and Papadopoulos.

In his deposition, Mifsud said that it was Scotti who asked him to co-host a table at an upscale restaurant in Rome in March 2016. At the table was Papadopoulos, Idris, and others from the LCILP. Mifsud was listed on LCILP’s website as a board adviser and, after July 2016, director of international strategic development. The LCILP website later disappeared from the web.

After the dinner, as they were leaving the restaurant, Mifsud continued to chat with Papadopoulos and learned “he was going to join … Mr. Trump’s campaign,” he said. In fact, it was about a week or two after Papadopoulos joined the campaign.

The two kept in contact and at some point “Scotti and Nagi Idris suggested that Mifsud should introduce Papadopoulos to his Russian contacts,” Roh said, referring to “declarations of Mifsud made in front of our team” and not the deposition itself.

Lots of names, lots of connections in this article. This is a goldmine for diggers.

China is inserting their corporate tentacles everywhere they can – and the implications on the flow of information (as well as access to user data) is appalling. Indeed, Chinese corporations are all basically Communist Assets. They all have to answer to the supreme power of the Chinese state.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Tuesday, he will meet with Department of Justice Attorney General William Barr this week to advise on the public rollout of classified documents pertaining to the FBI’s investigation into President Trump and Russia.

Graham noted that Americans deserve to know the truth about the now debunked FBI investigation into Trump Russia collusion and the extent of which it was politicized by former senior official within the Obama Administration. Graham has also promised that his committee will do an extensive investigation of alleged abuses by those officials.

“I’m going to meet the attorney general this week to talk to him about how best to tell the story,” said Graham. “I don’t want people to conjecture as to what happened. I want you to read it.”

It is absolutely imperative that Barr share the information with the public, numerous congressional lawmakers involved in various committees told this reporter. I couldn’t agree more with Graham and the other Republican lawmakers, like Rep. Devin Nunes, that the documents be made public.

Let us start by dismissing the prosecution’s ludicrous charge that any programmer as talented as Aaron Swartz would dedicate his life to stealing an archive that dispenses its academic papers for a few dollars apiece to the public or for free to students under department accounts.

This is massive, if true.

Schwartz helped found Reddit in its early days, as well as the RSS protocol. The idea that he would kill himself in prison over having the book thrown at him for sharing already-public documents never sat well with me.

But him being “suicided” – Epstein-style – because of what he knew… now that makes a LOT more sense.

I feel particularly strongly about this because Schwartz had a dedication to Free Speech that affected that era in a profound way. Reddit has since been corrupted, but those early days, when Schwartz was still around – that was an incredible time. The users of Gab owe a debt of gratitude to Schwartz because the ActivityPub protocol upon which Gab is now based, is built, in part, upon Schwartz’ code.

It would be a wild twist of fate if the heirs to his codebase were able to uncover the truth about what really happened to him.

An English professor at Mesa Community College kicked off the fall semester by showing his classes a YouTube video spreading a far-right conspiracy theory, according to four students. The 14-minute video shown by adjunct professor Douglas Belmore in at least two classes promoted QAnon, an online community that subscribes to the theory that a cabal of satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles has infiltrated the American government, media, and entertainment industry.

This prof sounds based. Wish I had him during my college years.

But in truth – this is only the beginning. Q will be taught in school for years to come – and not just in random English classes – but as actual, living history.

Prof. Belmore is just at the vanguard with this.

We start with a tweet from Brandy Zadrozny, who, in following up on her story with Ben Collins, is all too happy to report that they successfully got the Epoch Times banned from spending ad money on Facebook:

See, this is the function of the MSM now. Facebook needs “legal” grounds for banning an organization like the Epoch Times from their platform. So they have these #CrookedJournalists like Brandy and Ben fabricate the pretenses for the corporate nod-alongs at Facebook to cut the signal.

And let’s be clear here: we owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to the Epoch Times for their excellent #Spygate coverage. We wouldn’t know a fraction of what we now know, if it weren’t for their tireless efforts and – you know – actual investigative journalism – something Ben and Brandy know little-to-nothing about.

And I know I harp on and on about this, but the way to win against the Left is to actually control the platforms themselves.

The only way to truly control the platforms is to OWN them.

And this is why I think the Epoch Times should now begin to advertise on Gab. Gab shows minimal ads on their blogs, and will soon be rolling out the new site-wise “superpost” system – which works like Youtube’s superchat system, where a user can pay a small fee to have their post stand out to the entire userbase of the site.

The Epoch Times should, at the very least, avail themselves of that when it’s rolled out.

And they won’t have to worry about being censored or otherwise deplatformed.

In the five years following Gamergate, sites like YouTube, Reddit, and Twitter shifted the power dynamics between student and teacher. The harassment-campaign-turned-online-culture-war paved the way for how abusers coordinate and systematically target victims. Online harassment has moved from the web and into real life.

The Media has been going at #GamerGate with both barrels for the past couple of weeks – with the NYT publishing four different articles on the same day in a mega-feature – and if you’re unfamiliar with what the movement was, you might be wondering “Why?” It’s been half-a-decade since it first started, so why now?

Well, the answer is – because GamerGate was effective, and taught online communities how to break the narrative spellcasting of the MSM. Its techniques have since been utilized not only for the election of Trump, but within the broader Qmovement as well.

In other words, an attack against GamerGate ion the modern day is an attack against Q.

This is how the article frames GamerGate:

The internet as a whole opens up impressionable kids to toxic beliefs, whether it’s forum culture or online multiplayer. Radicalization is an ongoing problem on platforms like YouTube, where viewers can easily tumble down rabbit holes of far-right content thanks to the platform’s algorithm. If there were any lessons to be learned from Gamergate — from how to recognize bad faith actors or steps on how to protect yourself, to failings in law enforcement or therapy focused on the internet — the education system doesn’t seem to have fully grasped these concepts.

Many educators can’t grasp that, says Vossen.

A new approach for dismantling online hate networks

How do you get rid of hate speech on social platforms? Until now, companies have generally tried two approaches. One is to ban individual users who are caught posting abuse; the other is to ban the large pages and groups where people who practice hate speech organize and promote their noxious views.But what if this approach is counterproductive?

This comes from writer for The Verge, Casey Newton, and references an academic research article recently published in the journal Nature. It’s a lengthy discussion of the research, but the key takeaways are:

 

So what to do instead? The researchers advocate a four-step approach to reduce the influence of hate networks.

1. Identify smaller, more isolated clusters of hate speech and ban those users instead.
2. Instead of wiping out entire small clusters, ban small samples from each cluster at random. This would theoretically weaken the cluster over time without inflaming the entire hive.
3. Recruit users opposed to hate speech to engage with members of the larger hate clusters directly. (The authors explain: “In our data, some white supremacists call for a unified Europe under a Hitler-like regime, and others oppose a united Europe. Similar in-fighting exists between hate-clusters of the KKK movement. Adding a third population in a pre-engineered format then allows the hate-cluster extinction time to be manipulated globally.)
4. Identify hate groups with competing views and pit them against one another, in an effort to sow doubt in the minds of participants.
